Basket Plaid Linen Cocktail Napkin Set

  • Weaving color with color is kind of our thing. You? You love putting your different groups of friends all in one place and watching them intermingle. That's your thing - and we love that we can help you do that with something as small and simple as a set of cocktail napkins. We took four of our best-selling Basket Plaid Linen colorways - then the team at ATELIER SAUCIER picked some fun and unexpected thread colors to finish them. Just like you'd do when throwing a dinner party - all your favorite people, all your favorite ingredients, thrown together in unexpected ways.

Each cocktail napkin is made start to finish in Los Angeles, California: the fabric is first printed by hand by our master printers there; it's then washed for maximum softness at a family-run wash house down the road; finally, the team at ATELIER SAUCIER expertly cuts, sews and trims each one before it makes its way to your bar.

About Basket Plaid (the pattern) : Woven with color. Warp and weft, written in ink.

Is plaid the original textile pattern? Maybe. Does it carry with it centuries of staying power? Definitely. So to envision a collection of textiles that does not include a classic plaid would be a mistake of historic proportions.

Enter "Basket Plaid" - a present-day dimensional mastery of the age-old crisscross that was originally released by CW Stockwell in 1959 - and available for the first time ever as a woven performance fabric.
